Corrugated Containers

Craters & Freighters provides custom corrugated containers to meet any shipping need. Corrugated is a durable, versatile, and lightweight material used for custom-manufactured shipping containers. We use a minimum 350 lb double wall corrugated fiberboard, which is made up of three sheets of linerboard with two mediums or flutes in between when building custom corrugated boxes.

Inner Packaging

Craters & Freighters offers custom interior packaging for each container we build. Crates and containers are lined and filled with the appropriate amount of cushioning agents to ensure items are secure for shipping. Many factors are taken into consideration including dimensions, weight, fragility, mode of transport, and final destination requirements.

Our services also include a consultative approach on your product's packaging requirements. Our packing experts will work with you to devise packaging options to ensure safe transport and delivery. Skids & Pallets

Craters & Freighters produces custom pallets to support anything from lightweight boxes to heavy equipment. For exporting, all wood is certified with our ISPM-15 certification stamp.

Craters & Freighters of SW Florida produces skids and pallets to your specifications. If you have a twenty ton piece of equipment our engineer will design the heavy duty skid to the specific calculations needed. If you are shipping anything from boxes of lightweight household goods to valuable oil paintings you can rest assured the design will fit your needs. We can design the appropriate skid to ensure safe and easy transport.

Special Bracing

Another example of special bracing is shown with St Isabel (below). A custom wood crate has been designed for the bronze statue being prepared for shipment back to the artist.

Note how the base is on special foam and the top area has been braced secured and into the sides of the wood crate for additional rigidity.
